Flights

While the company does not arrange flights, which is your responsibility, we can help you identify airlines flying to Marrakech or Casablanca .

Passport

All travelers and all children must travel with their passports.

Supplies

You should be sure to bring with you:

  • A sleeping bag to match the temperature extremes
  • A small backpack to bring with you on the hike
  • Good walking shoes or comfortable sneakers.
  • Sandals or flip-flops
  • Sunglasses, swimsuit and sunscreen.
  • Camera
  • December through February: a fleece or down jacket
  • Towel and washcloth
  • First Aid kit: for blisters, upset stomach, headache, allergies, bumps, bruises or burns: bandaids, sterile bandages, antibiotic ointment, aspirin, Immodium, sunscreen, eyedrops.
  • Even if you do not need these during your trip, they will be put to good use if you leave them behind when you depart.
  • For the hike: a canteen, pen knife, lighter, toilet paper, flashlight and batteries.
  • You can buy cotton "harem" pants (for men and women) and scarves or turbans locally. Nights can be cool in the desert or the mountains. Modest clothing is welcome; fancy clothing might make sense in a resort hotel but not in small villages.

Luggage handling

During the hikes all the luggage and supplies are carried by the camels. You will keep with you only what you need for the hike (canteen, camera, sunscreen, jacket, etc.)

Electricity in Morocco : 220 volts with the same plug shape as in France .

Payment:

Deposit needs to be paid (30%) 5 weeks before departure, with a copy of your flight information. Bill must be paid in full before arrival in Morocco . Deposits can be partly refunded if cancellation is confirmed within two weeks of departure.
